We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Environmental Engineer for a prominent company in the Oil & Energy industry. As a Lead Environmental Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing environmental projects and initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving sustainable practices. Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage environmental engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget.
  2. Develop and implement environmental management plans and strategies to minimize environmental impact and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
  3. Conduct environmental impact assessments, studies, and audits to identify potential risks and develop mitigation measures.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into project design and decision-making processes.
  5. Drive the implementation of sustainable practices and technologies to improve environmental performance and resource efficiency.
  6. Provide technical guidance and support to junior environmental engineers and project teams.
  7. Stay up-to-date with emerging environmental regulations, practices, and technologies and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field, Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental engineering, with a focus on the Oil & Energy industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing environmental projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in environmental modeling software and tools.
  • Professional certifications such as PE and PMP are a plus.
