Job details

  • Responsible for managing and reviewing the entire spectrum of accounting functions including financial reporting, audit & taxation and staff supervision.
  • Responsible for preparing financial reports for management's review of monthly financial results, annual budget and other financial analyses as required by management.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate financial and management reporting and full set of accounts.
  • Responsible for proper maintenance of accurate, complete and up-to-date accounting records of the Management Accounts and Statutory Accounts in accordance with the required statutory regulations and is inclusive of monthly, quarterly and yearly reports as per an agreed timeline.
  • Review and implement accounting and financial procedures and policies to ensure compliance with financial policies and accounting standards.
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet Account / Fixed Assets / Intercompany / Bank / etc.
  • Preparing cash flow forecast, budget, sales forecast and analysis.
  • Mediate between the organization, employees, shareholders on financial issues for amicable resolution of differences.
  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
  • Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
  • Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end.
  • Review and approve financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.

  • Candidates should have a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent), a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree in Accounting or Finance, Business or Economics or equivalent.
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, and capable of troubleshooting and effectively resolving work problems.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in financial management/accounting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good technical knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, SST, and withholding tax.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships across departments.
  • Know-how to use accounting system from HQ-China is added advantage.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is preferred as the role requires the candidate to deal with Mandarin-speaking parties.
