Content and Social Media Specialist

We are rapidly expanding our dynamic team and plan to launch promising new products, features, and verticals in the near future.   We are looking for a Content and Social Media Specialist to strategize, create and publish high-quality finance-focused content on our social media pages and other digital brand properties. The goal is to identify and leverage creative strategies to enhance our online presence and broaden our engagement with target audiences. Key responsibilities:  

• Collaborate directly with founders to develop and refine a comprehensive content and social media strategy that aligns with company objectives.
• Design and adhere to a structured content calendar to ensure the consistent execution of content marketing strategies that meet our goals.
• Take full responsibility for the ideation and production of engaging content for our blogs and social media channels, ensuring high standards of creativity and impact.
• Update your knowledge of the finance and investment sectors regularly to ensure our content remains timely, informative and aligned with current trends and audience interests.
• Manage and optimize the distribution of content across social media platforms, ensuring alignment with the defined content calendar and marketing objectives.
• Continuously explore and implement innovative strategies to enhance our social media presence and organic reach.
• Engage proactively with key finance-focused social media accounts to expand our network and increase engagement with our core audience.
• Review and approve content created by external collaborators, ensuring it adheres to our brand guidelines and maintains a consistent voice across all platforms.
• Host and moderate engaging Twitter Spaces sessions with industry experts to foster discussions on relevant financial topics and enhance audience engagement.
• Strategize and lead initiatives to improve MProfit’s online content offerings, including the website, blog, and knowledge base, ensuring they serve as effective resources for our audience.

• A minimum of five years of experience as a finance-focused content and social media specialist within the fintech, wealth-tech, or financial services sectors
• A bachelor's degree in finance, communications, marketing or a related field
• Excellent understanding of the finance and investment industries, with the ability to translate different financial concepts into accessible content
• Demonstrated ability to manage and grow multiple social media accounts effectively and simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, WordPress, Typefully & other essential tools for content creation and management
• Exceptional command of English with outstanding reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience with SEO practices and web traffic analytics is highly beneficial
• Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing
• A quick learner & influencer with strong leadership, communication & teamwork skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and responsibilities seamlessly
• Fluency in multiple languages (Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada etc.) is an added plus
