Job Description
This role is part of AECOM's Global Workday Reporting team which is responsible for the creation and maintenance of Workday Report functionality, as well as servicing requests from the business for information. The Workday Reporting Team is part of the wider Reporting and Analytics function within Human Resources.- Support Workday and People Analytics teams with report requests coming from Service Now.
- Assess data request needs and perform data gathering and analysis procedures to accurately generate requested/routine reports and data trends.
- Create Workday reports, dashboards, and charts.
- Perform timely generation and distribution of ad hoc report requests.
- Escalate issues and recommend resolutions to the Team Lead. May support members of the team in addressing routine issues within the assigned processes.
- Maintain the SOP/DTP of current processes and incorporate documentation updates as required.
- Perform moderately complex tasks in compliance with service level agreements, processes, policies, and procedures.
- Propose alternatives in identified issues and assist in investigating and in resolving common and unusual issues.
- Contribute to various and simultaneous process improvement initiatives to streamline processes, improve customer experience, and increase productivity.
Qualifications
- Must be open for night shift schedule to support our Americas Region.
- Must be open for hybrid set-up (AECOM'S Freedom to Grow initiative).
- Background and knowledgeable in using PowerBI and Workday are required.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or at least 4 years of relevant work experience in HRIS/HR Reporting.
- Experience creating and maintaining Workday reports.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the use of calculated fields
- Knowledge / demonstrated experience with charting and dashboards.
- Has an aptitude for systems and technology.
- Workday certifications are a plus
- Good understating of the impacts that Workday security has on self-service reporting.
- Good understanding of employee/manager experience when interacting with Workday and report output is desired.
- Business Analyst skills which include understanding customer requirements and translating those into reports and analyses are desirable.
- Experience/ knowledge of HR processes including identifying data integrity issues with the HR Admin teams.
- Appreciation of the confidential nature of Human Resource data and the need to protect.
