Job Title: Environmental Engineering Project Assistant Company: Pinaka Construction Solutions Location: Nagpur, India (Remote) Job Description: We are seeking a talented and motivated Environmental Engineering Project Assistant to join our team at Pinaka Construction Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) report drafting, due diligence, and providing technical support to our Environmental Managers. Responsibilities:
- Draft Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) reports and Phase II Environmental Site Investigation reports in accordance with ASTM Standards and client requirements.
- Provide support to Environmental Managers in various work scopes including environmental site characterization, monitoring, permitting, regulatory reporting, and residential and commercial construction.
- Read maps and drawings to gather relevant information for reports.
- Analyze data and provide conclusion recommendations based on findings.
- Incorporate photos into reports to enhance clarity and understanding.
- Assist in the development and management of environmental projects.
- Create and update technical reports including Phase I and Phase II ESA reports, Remedial Investigation reports/Feasibility Studies, and Cleanup Action plans and reports.
- Utilize Geographical Information System (GIS) software for data analysis and mapping (experience with GIS software is a plus).
- Ensure accuracy and quality in all written and typed reports.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, hydrogeology, geochemistry, geology, or related fields.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace & Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Prior experience with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting maps and drawings.
- Familiarity with ASTM Standards and regulatory requirements.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work remotely and independently with access to a personal laptop.
