  • The Presales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the presales team, which consists of technical experts who support the sales team in qualifying, proposing, and closing deals.
  • He/she will be responsible for understanding customer needs, presenting solutions, and working closely with the sales team to facilitate the technical aspects of the sales process.
  • Overall, he/she will be responsible to develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitive products and industries to effectively position our products in the market.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products or services, including features, functionality, and technical specifications.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Collaborate with the Business/Sales team to understand customer requirements and objectives.
  • Develop technical solutions that align with customer needs and demonstrate the value of our products or services.
  • Create and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts to potential client
  • Engage with potential clients to understand their technical challenges and business goals.
  • Build relationships with key technical stakeholders within customer organizations.
  • Accompanying Account Managers on sales meetings and calls, participating in reviews with Sales teams and providing technical feedback on identified product/services gaps, Providing knowledge transfer to the Sales team to help improve qualification and win ratios
  • Address technical questions and concerns during the sales process.
  • Assist the Business/Sales team in preparing proposals, quotations, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product development and marketing, to ensure alignment between customer needs and product roadmap.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer interactions and market insights.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the pre-sales function.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with RFx to deliver solutions according to organizational standards, tracking changes, and transferring knowledge of customer projects from pre-sales to post-sales along with realized documentation
  • Design and build the appropriate pre-sales demonstration environment and keep this updated
  • Provide training to the sales team on all product and technical matters
  • Monitor and analyze demo metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in the project definition workshops and design sessions, to ensure consistency of messaging from sales activity.
Skills and Qualifications Task Related skills and Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience working such as technical pre-sales or solutions engineering role
