An exciting Head of Sales job has just become available at one of the most respected global retail firms based in Malaysia. Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, this is a role for a Salesperson who is a leader in their field. About the Head of Sales Role: In this business critical role you will be responsible for crafting and implementing sales and marketing strategies for our range of fully automatic coffee machines. This encompasses devising marketing plans, overseeing sales channels, and nurturing relationships with key customers (both consumers and professionals). Candidates must showcase a deep understanding of the coffee market, a proven track record of success in sales and marketing, and a genuine passion for coffee. Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement sales strategies and marketing plans to attain sales targets.
- Supervise sales channels and maximize sales opportunities across physical retail, online platforms, and commercial sectors.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to detect patterns and capitalize on opportunities.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and oversee marketing and sales teams to fulfill sales and marketing staffing objectives.
- Develop annual budget plans, allocate expenditures, and ensure the sales team achieves their quotas and targets.
- Explore and cultivate marketing prospects and plans, comprehend consumer needs, identify market trends, and propose system enhancements to realize the company's business objectives.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
- Driven by results, with 10-15 years of experience in sales or marketing management. Previous involvement in the branded luxury and premium hospitality industry is advantageous.
- At least 5 years of experience in people management or leadership positions.
- Possess a strategic outlook with robust analytical and organizational capabilities.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and proficiency in multiple languages is preferred.
