Company Description: GMR SOLAR INFRATECH LLC is leading solar project installation company in INDIA, BANGLADESH, MIDDLE EAST AND CIS COUNTRIES with over 2GW solar project installation track record. Role Description: This is a full-time hybrid role for a project Director at GMR SOLAR INFRATECH LLC, Uzbekisthan. The Project director will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing team performance, developing and implementing strategies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The Projects Director will be located in Tashkent, with flexibility for some remote work. Position: Solar Projects Director (Uzbekistan and CIS Countries) Responsibilities: 1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the solar energy sector, focusing on project development and execution. 2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies. 4. Collaborate with engineering and finance teams to assess project feasibility, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. 5. Create and execute a strategic business development plan for solar projects, including target setting and performance metrics. 6. Actively participate in proposal development, bid submissions, and negotiations to secure new contracts. 8. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project handover and execution. 9. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and milestones, ensuring successful and timely delivery. 10. Provide regular reports to senior management on business development progress, challenges, and opportunities. Requirements: 1. Proven experience in business development within the solar energy sector. 2. Strong understanding of solar project lifecycle, from conception to execution. 3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement. 5. Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing business deals. 6. In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations, policies, and incentives in the solar industry. 7. Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. 8. Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets. 9. Strong project management skills and ability to collaborate across departments. 10. Willingness to travel as needed for business development activities. Qualifications
