Join us in shaping a future where business growth and personal fulfilment go hand in hand. Job Description Reporting to a Director of SEO, you will an create impact within our SEO team. We take pride in our award-winning solutions - encompassing SEO consultancy and activation, proprietary technology, One Search, and integration with our Jellyfish language services department that supports the delivery of multilingual activities, at a global scale. You'll contribute to a range of different clients, from inspiring startups the whole way through to some of the most famous and renowned brands in the world today. At Jellyfish, we are committed to encouraging professional growth, formally through our dedicated training division which helps equip you with complimentary skills across analytics, AI, and other digital marketing capabilities; and informally through our regular SEO knowledge sharing sessions and resource Wiki. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Lead in the development of SEO strategies addressing the goals and Indicators of clients
  • Produce comprehensive technical SEO analysis of client websites/assets to help develop clear, applicable optimisation roadmaps
  • Onsite content audits to identify how client content are optimised to perform better within the organic SERPs
  • Develop white-hat link earning and amplification strategies geared toward building brand awareness across the web while strengthening organic ranking signals
  • Troubleshoot and participate in risk mitigation exercises and penalty removal for clients
  • Ensure that audits, research and landscape investigations are used to implement insight-driven strategies
  • Provide reporting which includes detailed insights, applicable next steps and which tie-back to overarching our goals
  • Attend important campaign meetings (internal and client-facing) and positioning yourself as one of the team
  • Work with internal Jellyfish staff to develop integrated digital marketing campaigns. This will involve partnering with lead practitioners from the Social, Content, Paid Media, Display, Creative, Development and UX teams
  • Work with Client Services and Project Management teams to stay on budget and within agreed timeframes
  • Identify when junior team members are struggling in their delivery of tasks and providing them with the support they require
  • Identify strategic opportunities and facilitate change to hit client expectations
  • Provide SEO training to our teams and clients
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of SEO & digital marketing experience
  • 2+ year of leadership experience
  • Proficiency in industry software and tools such as Screaming Frog, SemRush, Majestic, AHREFS, BuzzSumo, Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Skills using Google Sheets, Google Slide and Docs
  • Articulate English skills – you will use language and produce well constructed reports and deliverables
  • Experience working within social media, with impeccable knowledge of monitoring and metrics
  • you will discuss project plans, strategies, and results with project leaders
  • you will assist with projects and relationships
  • Creative and able to conceptualise and implement unique ideas
  • Pitch and communicate creative, strategic and professional ideas
  • Monitor their respective landscape to keep up to speed with industry developments, new tactics and expertise
  • Understand what does or does not fit within a client's brand ethics
  • BA/BS degree required
