Job Summary: Client is looking for Oracle DBA. This is remote position from India. Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA).
- High-level proficiency in managing MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL. This includes:
- Installation, configuration, and optimization of these databases.
- User and security management.
- Performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Backup and recovery procedures.
- Experience with AWS cloud for database management:
- In-depth knowledge of Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) for MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL.
- Familiarity with Amazon EC2 for deploying databases on virtual machines.
- Understanding of AWS security best practices for databases.
- Experience managing MS SQL on VM servers demonstrates a well-rounded understanding of database administration beyond the cloud.
- Experience with Oracle Database is a plus!
