Website Developer PHP HTML CSS Javascript

This is a remote position.

• Design and implement website for our clients using Wordpress Shopify and iKit (internally developed systems PHP and MySQL)
• Design websites based on a solid understanding of clients needs and overall business strategy
• Responsible for both frontend and backend development
• Coordinate and update any required website changes
• Integrate data from various backend services and databases
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
• Ensure high performance and availability of all sites including conducting regular performance tests
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies to apply to existing and new websites
• Support internal projects including the development of a web based presentation tool

Requirements

• At least 3 years experience in Website Development and Design
• software development experience in PHP
• Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML CSS Javascript AJAX etc
• Knowledgeable with MySQL database
• Experience with Wordpress and Shopify
• Able to demonstrate a portfolio of self designed websites
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
