For additional information about Coty Inc., please visit Employment Type: Full-time Division: India Business Unit Reporting to: Business Development Director, India Location: Mumbai, India We have an exciting newly created Business Development Manager position available in our newly created India Business division. Working in diverse environment, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with local distributors to drive our Beauty portfolio in India. RESPONSIBILITIES In your role as a Business Development Manager, you will work closely with Business Development Director to:

  • Achieve business & sales objective through effective management of local distributors
  • Work closely with internal & external stakeholders to gather insights, analyze and identify business opportunities (both brick and mortar and online) and develop local market relevant roadmaps and initiatives
  • Work closely together with local distributors in the execution of the pre-defined strategy and roadmap
  • Establish best-in-class retail excellence in the execution of all initiatives and maximum consumer satisfaction
  • In collaboration with local distributors drive JBP discussion, portfolio optimization and pricing strategies for India
  • Establish & meet regional sales financial objectives through effective account planning, rigorous forecasting & delivery of GTM projects (New Brand, NDP launches, Marketing, Commercial Campaigns etc.)
  • Build collaborative relationships with distributor and retail partners and support in white space expansion in untapped markets, consumer segments, brand development.
  • Manage sales & ordering process with Demand Planning & Customer Service Team, resolve issues and act as a liaison between distributor partners and internal team
  • Ensure timely submission and analysis of sales reports, market intelligence, local marketing plans, marketing spend, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or similar, preferably with an international exposure
  • Experience of 5 years or more in a similar commercial role managing different accounts, distributors and/or brands, with in-depth India market and retail knowledge
  • Strong commercial acumen, ideally coming from a Beauty and/or Retail background
  • Positive, can do, and hands-on mentality
  • Be persuasive and can drive growth conversations
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint
