Technical Lead (MERN Stack)

Job Description : Desol Int is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead with expertise in MERN stack development, Responsibilities:

• Providing technical guidance, architectural expertise, and mentorship to the development team.
• Leading the design and development of robust, scalable, and efficient applications using MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js (MERN).
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure technical feasibility.
• Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous innovation and improvement.

• Supervising and leading a team of developers, including task allocation, performance monitoring, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Conducting regular code reviews and providing constructive feedback to ensure high standards of code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Facilitating knowledge sharing, learning, and skill development within the team using platforms such as Jira and Slack.
• Identifying training needs and providing coaching to enhance the team's technical capabilities.
• Managing team dynamics, effectively resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive and productive work environment.

• Leading by example by actively participating in coding activities and taking ownership of critical modules or complex features.
• Ensuring that established coding practices are followed and that high-quality code is delivered on time.
• Collaborating with the team to solve technical challenges and make informed decisions using tools like Git for version control and Jira for project management.
• Performing code reviews, identifying areas of improvement, and initiating code refactoring initiatives.

• Effectively communicating technical concepts, project updates, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders using various communication tools including Slack and email.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including managers, designers, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.
• Serving as a bridge between the development team and management, providing regular updates, insights, and strategic recommendations.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of total experience in software development.
• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and ES6.
• Proficiency in Redux and ReactJS.
• Expertise in NodeJS, REST, MySQL/PostgreSQL, GraphQL, WebSocket, MongoDB, Redis, etc.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and familiar with project management tools like Jira.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Proven experience in team management, including task allocation, performance evaluation, and mentorship.
• Strong coding skills and an active contributor to the development process.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to a broad range of audiences.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
