Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Truck Dispatcher to join our team. The Truck Dispatcher will play a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing the movement of our fleet, ensuring efficiency and on-time deliveries. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Schedule and dispatch drivers, trucks, and shipments to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines. Monitor routes and adjust assignments as necessary to optimize efficiency and minimize costs. Communicate with drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during transportation. Maintain accurate records of dispatching activities, including driver logs, fuel purchases, and delivery confirmations. Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) or dispatch software to track and manage operations effectively. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and escalate issues as needed to provide exceptional service. Requirements: Proven experience as a truck dispatcher or in a similar logistics role. Strong knowledge of trucking regulations, routes, and industry practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively. Proficiency in using dispatch software or transportation management systems (TMS). Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance standards. IELTS or English Proficiency Test is a plus Needs to work in office and hybrid environment in US Timeframe and as per fleet requirements.
