Eligible candidates should send their CVs to: hiring@sparcpk.org The Outreach Manager will be responsible for effectively coordinating project activities, engaging with stakeholders, managing media relations, supporting project implementation and facilitating research-related tasks to achieve the project's objectives. Responsibilities:
  • Coordination and Networking:
  • Assist the Program Manager to coordinate the implementation of project activities according to the agreed-upon work plan.
  • Assist the Program Manager to Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, educational institutions and community-based organizations.
  • Assist the Program Manager to Organize and facilitate meetings, workshops and events to engage stakeholders and foster collaboration.
  • Media Engagement and Content Sharing:
  • Assist the Program Manager to Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to amplify project messages and reach a wider audience.
  • Assist the Program Manager to Create compelling content for social media platforms in collaboration with the project team.
  • Provide support to the Project Manager in developing and disseminating project-related content for various media channels.
  • Support in Research Activities:
  • Assist the Program Manager in designing and implementing primary and secondary research activities related to tobacco hazards among young generations.
  • Collaborate with research partners and consultants to ensure timely and accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Contribute to the development of research methodologies, surveys, and data collection tools as needed.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Assist the Program Manager to prepare comprehensive event reports detailing key outcomes, participant feedback, and recommendations for future activities.
  • Assist in compiling periodic donor reports, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and deadlines.
  • Draft concept notes, fact sheets, and press releases to highlight project achievements, challenges, and advocacy efforts.

Requirements

Master's degree in communications, public relations, development studies, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and media relations, preferably in the field of child rights or public health.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in research methodologies, data analysis, and report writing.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with tobacco control policies, child rights issues, and sustainable development goals in Pakistan is desirable.
