Data Center Mechanical Technician

• Conduct daily walkthroughs of Data Center facility.
• Responsible for day-to-day activities and project work as assigned by internal team.
• Proactive monitoring of production system with a sense of urgency when issues arise.
• Server, network, and all types of equipment installations.
• Understand and debug network, hardware, and server-related issues.
• Provide remote hands-on for clients.
• Utilize and work with vendors when needed to handle issues.
• Maintain cabling within Data Center, including pulling or running new cabling, for fiber and CAT6.
• OTDR and light loss testing of fiber optic links.
• Maintain documentation and inventory records.
• Any other job as assigned by Superior.

Requirements

• Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
• 1 – 2 years working experience in a related field.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Knowledge in server, network equipment, and software support configuration.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and as a team with the team members.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Possess own transport and able to travel.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
