Position Overview: The Accounts Payable Intern is responsible for providing financial, administrative and data entry services to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure that A/P finances are accurate and up to date. What you’ll do as the Accounts Payable - Intern : The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Accurate processing of data entry tasks.
- Ensure that invoices are accurately recorded into the finance system, with correct coding.
- Conduct weekly vendor statement reconciliations.
- Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges.
- Follows policies and procedures; completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; supports
- organization’s goals and values.
- Knowledge of general finance operations AP/AR.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy for data entry tasks.
- Microsoft package knowledge - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Moderate communication skills (written and oral) and MS/Masters/ Bachelors in Finance/Accounting / ACCA/CA
