Engineering Manager

• Assist in Monitoring and guiding the Engineering & Design teams.
• Develop process documentation including specifications and drawings.
• Arrange (formal/informal) design review meetings and progress meetings, ensuring accurate records are kept/communicated within the project team and any actions arising are addressed.
• Assist Project Management and Construction Team on project coordination
• Correct, advise, and guide technically contractors/ suppliers during the project implementation.
• Prepare Request for Quotation (RFQ).
• Prepare and liaise with engineers and drafters on all types of drawings issuance according to schedule.
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets and ensure that the budget is controlled with the Project Controllers Construction Department and Procurement Department.
• Communicate closely the commissioning/completion plan with the Commissioning/Start-up team, incorporating any Construction Completion, Take Over and/or Performance Tests.
• Representing the company in meetings with clients, suppliers, consultants, etc.
• Assist Sales & Business Development Department in preparation of a technical proposal for tender submission.
• To provide guidance, ideas, and problem-solving methods to designer engineers and draughtsperson.
• To provide any assistance and carry out any tasks that are required by the Project Manager / Board of Directors.

Competence:  

• Bachelor or Master degree in Chemical or Mechanical or Civil Engineering
• Min 5 to 10 years of experience in Engineering Design, preferably in Palm Oil, Refinery, Biogas, Waste/Raw Water Treatment, or related industries.
• Creative-minded and Good leadership.
• Excellent speaking and writing skills in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Chinese.
• Willing to travel outstation and overseas.
