JR45547 Test Engineer As MMP Test Engineer at Micron, you need provide support on the quality control of the product, communication , tactical responsiveness, continue improvement, training, cost reduction, environment, health, safety, and security concern. PRODUCT RESPONSIBILITY
- Support both internal and external groups on experiments designed to improve yield or overall part performance
- Data Mining and analysis to determine root cause
- Track data for anomalies, identify product, hardware.
- Independently develop experiments designed to improve yield or overall part performance
- Evaluate and verify yields to ensure we are shipping the highest quality product to our customers
- Adhere to best known methods for all tasks
- Support customer and internal audits
- Drive standardized methods and processes across areas, departments, and sites as appropriate.
- Communicate accurate supporting data in a timely manner to essential team members
- Ensure well documented communications to leadership, customers, and peers both locally, other Micron facilities and central organization
- Lead meetings and ensure notes are maintained for the organization
- Lead Focus meetings when needed for major issues. Send updates or results of the meeting.
- Drive communication of issues which impact site and independently take action to rectify issue in a timely manner
- Maintain tactical updates daily and project updates on a weekly basis. Updates should show progress against the timelines.
- Drive investigation of manufacturing issues related to Test processes. Implement solutions to these issues in a timely manner
- Support process excursion activities including identification, containment, notification, and implementation of corrective actions
- Provide timely feedback and solutions to any problems on the production floor
- Investigate the root cause of equipment and/or process parameter shifts.
- Perform Equipment Evaluations
- Support intra-departmental (and multi-site) teams in development of new processes and capabilities to support product roadmap. Lead teams and drive development where necessary
- Participate with intra-departmental (and multi-site) teams to drive, develop, and implement improvements in equipment or processes that reduce cost (e.g. reduction in scrap, rework, cycle time reduction, or increase in throughput, yield), and/or improve quality and/or reliability
- Actively share information with other team members to raise level of awareness and knowledge in the department, site, or larger industry groups
- Follow all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
- Be an active participant in the EHSS program by reporting all EHSS-related concerns or problems immediately to the appropriate individual (ERT, Supervision, etc.)
- Be proactive in reducing incidents of personal injuries, safety hazards or environmental releases
- Bachelors Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
- Experienced with electrical engineering, as applicable to memory devices and test hardware.
- Strong logical thinking, as applied to general programming and problem solving.
- Experienced with testing logic and leading products/projects. Familiar on cross groups communication.
- Good understanding of component test/equipment/programming is preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
