Practical Information: Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia | Reports to: ISV Sales Director | Visa Requirements: Valid working visa for Malaysia | Language Requirements: professional English, written and spoken | Work Arrangement: Hybrid As our new Cloud Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for driving strategic conversations and act as an interface between business and technology , by involving all levels of relevant stakeholders. Your primary duties will be to identify and develop the most attractive licensing and services business opportunities as well as collaborate with our AWS stakeholders and other vendors (e.g., Microsoft, GCP) to jointly approach customers and keep up to speed with technology enhancements. Your responsibilities will also include:
  • Conducting thorough research to understand the specific business needs, challenges, and goals of potential customers
  • Collaborating with customers to identify how AWS services can address their needs and deliver value
  • Building and cultivating strong relationships with customers, including key stakeholders and decision-makers, to foster trust and credibility
  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth, which can include identifying sales opportunities, prioritizing leads, and managing the sales pipeline effectively
  • Staying up to date on the latest AWS products and services, as well as industry trends and competitive offerings to effectively position AWS solutions in the market
  • 3+ years demonstrated relevant experience with AWS, Microsoft or Google Cloud solutions
  • Previous exposure or relevant experience within Business Development or Pre-sales roles
  • Exposure and ability to navigate the market to engage and propose cloud solutions and services
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into content understandable in business terms considering the audience {e.g., corporate executives, business partners, regulators, etc.)
  • AWS Certifications are highly regarded
