Team/Role Overview: The PMO in Governance and Oversight sits within the Independent Compliance Risk Management ( ICRM ) organization, and is focused on the critical review, monitoring, and tracking of Project Management governance and oversight on the ICRM Book of Work.- The Incumbent will will be responsible for a critical review and oversight of ICRM projects.
- This is a global role which requires collaboration with the Teams in the US, Mexico, Malaysia. Standard European working hours apply but with some dose of flexibility.
- The successful Candidate has not just participated in projects, but rather has experience in managing/coordinating/supervising projects in accordance with specific methodologies.
- This is not a role involving managing a specific project, but rather overseeing/reviewing/monitoring/analyzing various projects across ICRM organization.
- Operational execution of the Org PMO Governance and Oversight activities working with Program and Project Managers.
- Assesses compliance with the defined governance process and overall adequacy, through periodic governance reviews to ensure compliance with the requirements, and reports / escalates issues.
- Independently assess’ risks and drive actions to address the root causes that persistently lead to data quality issues and non-compliance by challenging teams.
- Analyzes scorecards/project management tools in an attempt to identify program / project management execution issues.
- Provides in-depth and sophisticated analyses with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Develops and maintains relationships across the PMO, CPMC (Citi Program Management Council) and other stakeholders to better understand and respond in a timely manner.
- Contributes to ensuring Org PMO is be a strong, transparent and well-governed organization through supporting key governance and finds efficiencies in the governance processes, templates and reporting. Identifies process improvement opportunities where appropriate and manages approved enhancements.
- 5+ years of relevant experience including program management or project management governance.
- Strong organization skills, time management, collaboration, facilitation, negotiation skills and ability to influence.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and quantitative skills; data driven and results-oriented.
- Expert knowledge in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel ) is a must. SharePoint experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and comfortable communicating all levels of the global organization.
- Fluent English
- PMP certification in plus
- Knowledge of Citi applications (PTS- Project Tracking Tool) in plus
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
