As a CCRIS Lead Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia's (BNM) regulations on CCRIS and lending practices within the digital banking environment. Your role will involve overseeing CCRIS reporting processes, maintaining data integrity, and liaising with regulatory authorities to adhere to regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities:
  • Lead efforts to establish or enhance the CCRIS infrastructure within the bank, aligning with BNM's guidelines and requirements. This includes processes, integration with core banking systems, Customer Data Environment (CDE), and Loan Management Systems (LMS).
  • Data input, Verification, and Quality Assurance
  • Oversee the accurate input and verification of data in both the front-end and back-end systems of CCRIS, ensuring compliance with BNM's regulations on data accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct data quality reconciliation across all lines of business (LOB) within the bank, adhering to BNM's guidelines for data integrity in lending practices.
Regulatory Liaison and Compliance:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for liaising with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) to resolve any CCRIS-related issues or inquiries, ensuring prompt resolution and adherence to BNM's regulatory requirements.
  • Stay informed about the latest CCRIS guidelines issued by BNM and ensure that the bank's practices and procedures remain compliant with BNM's regulatory standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Training:
  • Collaborate closely with CCRIS users within the bank to rectify any data discrepancies or errors, in accordance with BNM's guidelines for data rectification.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for all CCRIS users within the bank, ensuring alignment with BNM's requirements for training and competency in CCRIS reporting and compliance.
Timely Reporting and System Enhancement:
  • Ensure the timely submission of accurate CCRIS-related reports to BNM, adhering to BNM's guidelines for reporting deadlines and data accuracy.
  • Lead system testing efforts for CCRIS enhancements or updates, ensuring compliance with BNM's requirements for system reliability and accuracy in lending data.
Workflow and Procedure Management:
  • Continuously review and improve workflow processes and internal operating procedures related to CCRIS management, aligning with BNM's guidelines for process efficiency and compliance.
Meeting Attendance and External Liaison:
  • Attend meetings related to CCRIS matters and actively participate in discussions or decision-making processes as required, ensuring alignment with BNM's expectations for stakeholder engagement.
  • Maintain regular communication and collaboration with BNM's CCRIS team and officers, as well as representatives from external vendors, in accordance with BNM's guidelines for external liaison and engagement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 5 years experience in a similar role within the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on CCRIS reporting and compliance
  • In-depth knowledge of CCRIS regulations, guidelines, and reporting requirements
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify trends or discrepancies
  • Experience in establishing or improving CCRIS infrastructure, including process enhancement and system integration, is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders, regulatory authorities, and external vendors
  • Proficiency in data management tools and software, with experience in database management and reporting systems
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively
