Account & Relationship Management (Sales) We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee our Pre-Owned Cars department. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated professionals, managing all aspects of pre-owned vehicle sales, and driving the department towards success. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking company and make a significant impact in the automotive market. Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability within the Pre-Owned Cars department.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals, setting clear goals and expectations for performance.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards, maintaining a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
- Oversee the acquisition, pricing, and merchandising of pre-owned vehicles, optimizing inventory levels and profitability.
- Work closely with Marketing department to implement effective marketing strategies to promote pre-owned car sales, collaborating with the Marketing Department as needed.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Analyze sales data and financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Stay updated on industry developments and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in automotive sales management, with a track record of success in pre-owned vehicle sales.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent knowledge of the automotive industry, including pre-owned car market trends and regulations.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on building and maintaining long-term relationships.
- Proficiency in sales management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
