Your Role Involves: • Contribute to the development and enhancement of our automation testing frameworks using .NET/C#, SpecFlow, and Entity Framework; • Design and execute automated tests for API and UI layers, ensuring comprehensive coverage; • Integrate automation tests within CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and deployment; • Collaborate with development teams to embed quality assurance processes throughout the SDLC, from requirements analysis to deployment; • Utilize Postman for API testing and validation, ensuring all services meet functional and performance criteria; • Champion BDD practices, working closely with product owners and developers to create test scenarios that reflect user stories and acceptance criteria; • Analyze test results, report and track defects, and provide detailed testing documentation and reports to stakeholders; • Stay current with new testing tools and strategies, continuously seeking ways to improve our QA processes and efficiency; • Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to validate application functionality, UI, performance, and security. What You'll Do Daily: • Write and update C# automated test scripts, ensuring they are efficient, reusable, and maintainable; • Run automated tests, analyze outcomes, and troubleshoot failures to maintain software quality; • Engage with development teams and stakeholders, share insights, and adopt best practices to enhance testing processes. We Expect: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; • A Master's degree is a plus; • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 3 years focused on automation testing in a C# development environment or similar (Java); • Proficient in C# programming, with a deep understanding of .NET and Entity Framework; • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium or similar; • Strong knowledge of Specflow or similar BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) methodologies; • Strong knowledge of API testing tools like Postman and Swagger; • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as CircleCi or similar (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or TeamCity); • Understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases (MySQL); • Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience testing web applications; • Comprehensive understanding of the SDLC, particularly Agile methodologies; • Proven ability to work collaboratively with development teams to integrate QA processes into the development lifecycle; • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; • Ability to analyze test results, identify issues, and provide solutions; • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; • Ability to clearly document test plans, test cases, and test results; • Comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
