Sr. WordPress developer is responsible for designing, building and maintaining websites using WordPress, a popular content management system. They are responsible for creating custom themes, plugins and templates to meet client requirements.  Requirements:

• Experience 3 to 5 years. 
• Strong knowledge of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.
• Experience in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and ability to implement them in WordPress.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of web standards, SEO best practices, and security principles.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug WordPress-related issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
• Experience with other CMS platforms like Drupal or Joomla is a plus.
• Portfolio of past WordPress projects is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients and project managers to understand project requirements and goals.
• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on client specifications.
• Customize and modify existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet client needs.
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure websites are optimized for different devices.
• Conduct testing and debugging to ensure functionality and performance of WordPress websites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress-related issues reported by clients or end-users.
• Optimize websites for search engines by implementing SEO best practices.
• Ensure proper security measures are in place to protect WordPress websites from threats.
• Stay up to date with the latest WordPress updates, trends, and best practices.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure visual consistency and user-friendly interfaces.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and colleagues when needed.
• Document code, processes, and project specifications to ensure future maintainability.
