VBA and Macro Specialist/Excel Automation Analyst

ob Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a VBA and Macro Specialist/Excel Automation Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing VBA macros and advanced Excel solutions to streamline processes, automate tasks, and enhance data analysis capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Excel and VBA programming, with a demonstrated ability to design efficient solutions to complex problems. Responsibilities: 1. Develop and maintain VBA macros to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency in data processing and analysis. 2. Design and implement advanced Excel solutions to manipulate and analyze large datasets, including data cleansing, transformation, and visualization. 3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop customized Excel-based solutions to meet their needs. 4. Provide technical support and training to end users on Excel functionalities, VBA programming, and macro development. 5. Optimize existing Excel workbooks and macros for performance and scalability, identifying opportunities for improvement. 6. Stay up-to-date with the latest Excel features and techniques, continuously enhancing skills and knowledge in VBA programming and Excel automation. 7. Troubleshoot and debug VBA code and Excel formulas to ensure accuracy and reliability of automated processes. 8. Document technical specifications, system architecture, and user guides for developed solutions. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization techniques. 3. Strong programming skills in VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) with experience in developing macros and user-defined functions. 4. Familiarity with Excel object model and automation techniques for interacting with external data sources (e.g., databases, APIs). 5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. 6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. 7. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and shifting priorities. 8. Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python) and data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
