Overview

To manage and supervise Projects & Engineering function at Business Unit - BU Level, covering both factories at Sundar & Multan, Agro operations and external infrastructure development. Provide Engineering & Project support to the business on project feasibilities & proposals.

Responsibilities

  1. Project Management:
  2. Effective project management on capex projects – end to end delivery of scope, capex, quality of work, as per PepsiCo Engineering standards and all complying to all standards.
  3. Deliver major projects:
  • Green Field, Brown Field, Infrastructure & New Asset additions inside operating plants
  • Capex Approval Pre-working/Engineering design & overall business case development
  • Development of Engineering technical feasibility for projects Capex approval process
  • Engineering design development with consultant, Sector COE and internal stakeholders
  • Close coordination on project/capex working with all stakeholders including finance–planning
  • Project schedule:
Development of detailed Project schedules for key projects, coordinating it with field project teams, supplier inputs & as per targeted completion dates.
  • Contractor onboarding:
Working with field project team, GP and Engineering Consultant on several round of tendering process for awarding key projects
  • Capex spending key projects:
Capex spending plan review to provide necessary project support to ensure timely Capex spending. Tracking and reporting of Capex spend for business/Sector and relevant stakeholders.
  • To Develop & Track AOP Capex:
Maintenance/Engineering budget on yearly basis and manufacturing capacities outlook versus business plans on 5 yearly basis.
  • Innovation/Technology/Sustainability/Productivity projects:
Deliver modern technologies, innovations, productivity, sustainability projects across the BU in close coordination with Sector Engineering, P&P, R&D function and external suppliers.
  • Digital value chain:
Digitization of engineering and utilities work stream and step beyond for its integration with other Supply chain functions in close coordination with BIS, digital service providers & Sector COE. Comprehension on Industrial 4.0 trends. Understanding of Automation & Controls systems, Networks, Digitization platforms and technologies.
  • Safety compliance:
MESS, “machine equipment and safety standards” in line with EHS guidelines. Compliance to HAZOP & to GEHSMS standards where applicable. FM Global standards full implementation. Projects and Engineering operations full compliance on EHS standards for internal and external stakeholders/contractors.
  • Equipment “after sales” support:
Develop with OEM’s the effective training programs for internal team members. Establish “spare parts” strategies, both import and localization for all operating machinery. Coordination with Global procurement: On vendors, suppliers & contractors onboarding, develop BOQ, RFQ documents and provide support on legal contract drafts and commercial agreements.
  • Capability Building within Engineering and Project teams:
Coach, train, and develop team in line with PepsiCo growth model – great 5 leadership model, TPW – The PepsiCo way, consistent with OHS - Org health survey.
  • Engineering Management:
In line with PepsiCo Maintenance Management system - PeMM, drive for results to achieve world class KPI’s on downtime management, digitization, cost effective solutions, productivity, energy and water savings, digital tools implementation, vendor management, team capability, management of spares inventory and sourcing, idle asset management. SAP effective utilization on maintenance regime and overall maintenance planning.
  • Partnership/Collaboration:
Sector COE, Consultants, Suppliers, Contractors, close liaison with Legal, PPGA, & other Government agencies.
  • Compliances:
To all internal/external business compliances in line with but not limited to, EHS, Controls, Legal and Regulatory.
  • Leadership traits Acumen:
Great 5 leadership model, experienced in demonstrating & exhibiting leadership qualities on business decisions and stakeholder management around “Growth, Relationship, Execution, Agility, Thinking”. Hone in, leadership traits to bring performance excellence within the function.

Qualifications

Engineering Degree with business acumen. ~ 15 years’ experience in an FMCG business, Engineering/Project management End to end understanding, knowledge and hands on experience of Project/Engineering systems, workflow, tools, terminologies, technology trends. Business acumen of supply chain operations Effective communication – Reporting, Emails, Dash boards, presentations, verbal, utilize both manual and digital tools. Engineering/Project: Acumen, hands on exposure and knowledge of Industry, Food processing, Packaging, Controls, PLC, Automation, Electrical networks, Mechanical systems, Civil infrastructure, Controls and Digital networks, Utility equipment and operations, Renewable energy and technology trends, Supplier/Equipment base & Team management, experience of operating on leadership position. #J-18808-Ljbffr
