Job Description

A Candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing procurement processes and strategies within our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring excellence across all procurement activities, including sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, and supply chain optimization. Your primary objective will be to drive efficiency, cost savings, and operational excellence in procurement operations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Procurement Strategies: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to streamline procurement processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Cost Reduction Initiatives: Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, demand management, and vendor consolidation initiatives.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, including supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze procurement data to identify trends, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare reports for senior management to support decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments, including finance, operations, and legal, to align procurement activities with organizational objectives.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations, and promote ethical conduct in all procurement-related activities.
  • Supplier Diversity: Promote supplier diversity initiatives and ensure inclusion of diverse suppliers in procurement processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the procurement function, fostering innovation and excellence.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management. Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Certification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) is a plus.
