DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a talented Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in optimizing our cloud infrastructure and deployment processes. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Azure-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline deployment processes, automate tasks, and ensure the reliability and performance of our applications. This role requires a strong understanding of Azure services, infrastructure as code (IaC) principles, and DevOps best practices. Responsibilities: •Design, implement, and manage Azure infrastructure components such as virtual networks, VMs, storage accounts, and databases. •Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools to automate build, test, and deployment processes. •Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or ARM templates to ensure consistency and repeatability in deployments. •Monitor and optimize Azure resources for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. •Implement and maintain security best practices in Azure environments, including identity and access management, network security, and encryption. •Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and ensure seamless deployment processes. •Stay updated on emerging Azure services, features, and best practices, and evaluate their potential impact on our infrastructure and processes. •Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for production systems as needed. Qualifications: •Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Azure cloud services. •Strong proficiency in Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions, etc. •Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. •Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD. •Solid understanding of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash. •Experience with version control systems such as Git. •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. •Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Preferred Qualifications: •Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert. •Experience with Docker containers and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes. •Knowledge of serverless computing and event-driven architectures. •Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
