Job Description

Job Purpose: The key role of an employee who works as an Accounts Receivable is to ensure their company receives payments for goods and services and records these transactions accordingly. An Accounts Receivable job description will include securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts and resolving any discrepancies. Job Responsibilities:
  • Processing accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables' data.
  • Preparing bills receivable, invoices and bank deposits.
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients' billing issues.
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
  • Obtain information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up to date.
  • Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
  • Generate invoices and account statements.
  • Produce monthly financial and management reports.
Job Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree of commerce or a related field Training Courses: Knowledge of Egyptian accounting standards and general accounting concepts Years Of Experience: Up to 3 years of experience
