Software Project Manager

Summary We are looking to hire a Software Project Manager to join us in achieving global leadership and enriching knowledge by making it available to Arabic-speaking people wherever they are. The successful candidate shall be responsible for facilitating the Agile processes, fostering collaboration, and ensuring successful project delivery within the defined time frames while maintaining a customer-centric approach. Responsibilities

• Serve as the Scrum Master for the Development Team, facilitating Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives) and ensuring adherence to Agile principles
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and the Development Team to define project goals, prioritize features, and create and manage the product backlog
• Break down project requirements into user stories or tasks, ensuring they are well-defined, estimated, and ready for development
• Track and monitor project progress, working closely with the Development Team to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of sprint deliverables
• Identify and resolve any impediments or roadblocks that may hinder the team's progress, facilitating communication and removing obstacles to ensure continuous workflow
• Act as a liaison between the Development Team and stakeholders, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and incorporating feedback into the project
• Generate relevant reports and metrics to provide visibility into the project's status, including sprint burndown charts, velocity, and other performance indicators
• Identify and mitigate project risks, working proactively with the team to address potential issues and minimize their impact on project delivery

• 4+ years of experience as a project manager      
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field
• Proven experience as a project manager or Scrum Master, preferably in a software development environment
• Strong understanding of Agile principles, values, and methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean
• Excellent knowledge of project management practices and tools, with the ability to apply Agile practices effectively
• Experience in breaking down project requirements into user stories or tasks, estimating effort, and managing product backlogs
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate collaboration, manage stakeholders, and drive the team's performance
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and priorities, fostering flexibility and adaptability within the team
• Proficiency in using project management and collaboration tools, such as Azure DevOps and Microsoft Project
• Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master) is a plus
