Useful Information:Industry: Educational Gender Preference: Male Timings: Monday to Friday (1:00 PM to 9:00 PM); Saturday (1:00 PM to 6:30 PM) Job Type: Full Time/ Onsite Location: Islamabad, Pakistan Age: Upto 35 years (at max) Company Perks: Leaves, Medical, OPD, Petrol Key Purpose: We are looking on behalf of our client for the position of Additional Manager Finance who will be responsible to oversee financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting practices, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities include overseeing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, managing budgets, analyzing financial data, supporting audits, and ensuring adherence to accounting principles. Additionally, collaborating with various departments, providing financial insights for decision-making, and optimizing financial processes; The Additional Finance Manager plays a crucial role in helping Finance Depts. of UK from various customers to manage and oversee their day-to-day financial tasks preparing annual accounts, Payroll, keeping all the accounts data, Receipts, responding customer queries and collecting all the income (from students and suppliers). Enhance the customer satisfaction both at individual student, staff, and at any supplier level. Key Accountabilities:
  • Ensure you Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
  • Ensure you Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Make sure all the financial monthly accounts, quarterly accounts and annual accounts done on time, and submitting to senior management (CEO and owner of companies) and external authorities.
  • Ensure to follow up UK accounting standard when preparing all sort of accounts
  • Ensure to use and understand fully the accounting softwares - Sage line 50 for accounts, and Payroll, Sage 200, and Xero accounting software.
  • To address immediate needs of first client, the Excel sheet, Sage Line 50 for Accounts and Payroll will be required immediately to fulfil accounting duties.
  • Make sure you and your finance team have full knowledge, experience, and use them for the implementation of all sorts of existing and new company accounts.
  • Ensure all the customer invoices paid on time after checking their Bank account details and accuracy of invoice.
  • Ensure a purchase order system implemented and made easy for all the staff, plus keep full record of item purchased, who ordered, approval done and whether the goods received or NOT. Each order ticked off for its completion.
  • Ensure all the income invoices raised on time and cleared from customers on time.
  • Ensure tuition fee collected from all the students. The finance dept needs to chase up all the fees either from students or from suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain transparency and accuracy in financial statements, ledgers, and records.
  • Manage and mentor a team of financial professionals, including accountants, analysts, and other relevant staff.
  • Stay updated on financial technology trends and tools that can enhance financial operations.
  • Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure the organization's financial stability.
  • Ensure the finance dept is keeping full account records customer invoices, receipts, and customer letters etc.
  • Ensure all the documents fully scanned and kept in right location, and easy to find when it is required to view them.
  • The security of financial record and data information is highly important. Make sure all the financial information is secured, not to leak/disclose to any person whether internal or external.
Essential Qualifications: Education: CA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or any other professional qualification Professional Experience: Minimum 05 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting roles, preferably from the audit firms/ educational industry. Behavioral Skills and Competencies: The candidate must have the following qualities:
  • Understanding of regulations and compliance specific to the industry/ company.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented professional, with the ability to drive projects independently from the inception to execution stages.
  • SAGE Software knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications like Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Work experience with big four firms or multi-national organizations.
