Olam Food IngredientsJob DescriptionCreate and follow up the AG department budget and report quarterly.Provide the operational inputs for preparation of the annual OpenX & Capex budgetPrepare and holds AG operation plan, Handling all agriculture operation activities.Develop the comprehensive framework for operating and managing Rental Farming Project complete with schedules, activity plans, resources, contractors, Bill of Material, costing, analysis, labor, transportation, equipment rentals, etc.Manage inventory of spares, fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, fuel, etc. Put a system for inventory management – ABC model, re-order levels, warehouse management, etc.Manage import, storage and distribution of seeds - Develop and manage the equipment & vehicle maintenance schedule in coordination with ag engineering team supplies.Accurately track minute cost details of the company’s crops.By end of every season – prepare the detailed pricing strategy for new season complete with costs, yields, competitor crop costs, scope of work, recommended price, etc.Lead the Quality Inspection process during harvestManage logistics of AG department include transportation of ag produce from field to factory and equipment transportation.Handling SAP activities for AG department.Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.Proven experience in agricultural operations management, preferably in a similar role.Familiarity with budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.Strong understanding of agricultural practices, crop management, and agronomy.Knowledge of farm equipment, machinery, and maintenance.Familiarity with inventory management systems and agricultural software.Familiarity with SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Ability to coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
