Director, Implementation

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Implementation to join our team. The Director of Implementation will be responsible for leading the Implementation team and ensuring successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing packaged software, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The Director, Implementation is a pivotal leader within the regional organization, entrusted with the comprehensive management of the Implementation team. This role entails not only the oversight of customer engagements but also the refinement of project delivery processes. Adept at fostering robust client relationships, team management, and service strategy development, this professional propels revenue growth and elevates customer satisfaction. Essential Functions Under the general supervision of Global Vice President, Product, the essential functions include:

• Foster a forward-thinking team culture that champions continuous learning, refinement, and customer-centricity.
• Lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of consultants and project managers.
• Ensure punctual delivery of consulting projects while prioritizing customer contentment.
• Formulate and execute strategies that drive revenue growth targets for the consulting services.
• Develop and foster strong relationships with customers to deliver consulting services aimed at fulfilling their business needs.
• Present compelling project execution strategies to potential clients, elucidating the pathway to shared success and value generation.
• Strategically realign service delivery strategies with organizational objectives, fostering agility, scalability, and quality.
• Solicit and integrate customer insights to refine and enhance service delivery approaches.
• Institutionalize best practices in project execution for consistent and reliable outcomes.
• Uphold high-quality standards at all customer touchpoints, ensuring exceptional experiences.
• Promote a team ethos anchored in empathy, responsiveness, and effective problem-solving.
• Proactively assess and optimize team capacity for billable projects.
• Pioneering initiatives to augment revenue via efficient utilization of resources.
• Assume a senior role in addressing project issues and conflicts, orchestrating successful resolutions.
• Implement efficient processes and tools to amplify team efficiency and effectiveness.
• Regularly evaluate team performance, identify skills gaps, offer constructive feedback, and recommend interventions.
• Foster a performance-driven culture by setting, tracking goals, and providing coaching and mentoring to elevate high performers.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, retention and continuous growth of consultants and project managers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure alignment with overall company strategy.

• Security Designate responsibilities include: Security Designates serve as the primary security contact for their assigned business unit. They are responsible for processing reports of security incidents, data breaches, and policy violations submitted by direct reports within the business unit and for notifying the acting Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of reported incidents, breaches, and violations. Security Designates also coordinate with the Human Resources Department and CISO to impose sanctions on direct reports who violate Elixir’s Security and Compliance policies or applicable legal requirements (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA, etc.). Security Designates monitor fulfillment of sanctions and notify the CISO when the terms of sanctions have been fulfilled. Additional responsibilities include processing complaints related to Elixir’s security and privacy program at the department level; submitting exception requests related to Elixir’s Security and Compliance policies to the CISO; and cooperating with investigations of security incidents, data breaches, and security and privacy violations. In carrying out responsibilities related to Elixir’s Security and Compliance program, Security Designates will utilize the appropriate forms available on the Security and Compliance site on SharePoint.

• Skilled negotiation and conflict resolution abilities, vital for securing contracts, navigating project terms, and resolving disputes.
• Ability to identify and mitigate potential project or strategy risks through strategic planning and countermeasures.

Effective Communication:

• Proficiency in conveying complex ideas through written and verbal communication to diverse audiences.

Requirements Required education and experience

• A minimum bachelor's degree in business, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of implementation or consulting services experience, with at least 3 years in leadership or managerial roles.
• Proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
• Demonstrable experience in developing and managing client relationships.
• Previous experience in strategic planning and execution.
• Solid understanding of project management principles and tools.
• International or cross-cultural consulting services experience
• Experience in software implementation projects is a plus

Preferred education and experience

• 10+ years of consulting services experience in a tech or software industry.
• Prior experience in a SaaS or technology-focused company.
• Experience in change management or organizational transformation initiatives.
• Prior experience in sales or a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
• Certifications in project management, service management, Six Sigma Black Belt or other relevant areas.
