TESTING AUTOMATION LEAD

Job Description

Job Purpose: To supervise the process of applying, designing and developing automated testing strategies and build automated testing frameworks. In addition to, analysing and verifying best automated and manual test approaches and execute acceptance, integration, installation and system testing . 1. Supervise planning, monitoring, and control of the testing activities and tasks. In addition to participating in the testing strategy to ensure smooth workflow. 2. Ensure working with Project manager in collaboration with the other stakeholders to devise the test objectives, organizational test policies, test strategies and test plans. 3. Work closely with project stakeholders to determine the appropriate quality initiatives to implement during system development life cycles. 4. Responsible for estimating testing related activities TAT and negotiate with management to acquire the necessary resources. 5. Create Assist Troubleshoot the development of Test Automation Framework, Standards, Procedures to aggregate business and technical requirements into quality Systems and Services. 6. Provide technical guidance and expertise to team members, colleagues and or customers to ensure functionality and best service delivery. 7. Lead, guide and monitor the analysis, design, implementation and execution of the test cases, test procedures and test suites to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. 8. Ensure preparing & managing the test environment before and during the test execution to ensure proper execution. 9. Review test artifacts, including Test Plans, Business Test Scenarios and Requirements Traceability Matrices to ensure system requirements are met. 10. Review documenting test and status reports results and assist with defect management, to clarify issues and ensure requirements are met. 11. Ensure maintaining understanding of current and new testing technologies and tools for testing enhancements and growth opportunities. 12. Create project automation test strategy, to ensure mapping of high-level objectives to actual test activities to meet those objectives from a quality assurance perspective. Qualifications and Experience § Bachelor’s degree of Computer Engineering/Computer science or its equivalent. §8-10 years of experience §4+ years previous banking applications and banking domain experience is preferred § ISTQB Foundation Certification is preferred. Skills § Very Good command of English and Arabic languages (Written & Spoken) § Very good presentation and communication skills § Good organizational skills.
