DevOps Engineer Location Cairo Category Software & Applications 51514042 Posted Date 04/29/2024 JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description: We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who has a strong background in software engineering, with experience working in an agile engineering team and always keen for getting into new technologies. You will be working in a challenging projects that will require high attention to details, critical thinking, problem solving skills, and innovation. Your team has a major impact on engineering our delivery by continuous optimization and improvements, the team will be responsible for large scale infrastructure and applications management. Duties and Responsibilities Design, implement and manage CI/CD, configuration management and GitOps. Provides management, maintenance, monitoring, automation, and infrastructure as code in an Agile DevOps environment. Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards. Handle code deployments in all environments. Monitor metrics and innovate ways to improve. Work closely with development and testing teams and provide solutions to optimize the software development lifecycle. Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve our daily work. Follow best practices and procedures and improve them. Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field. Experience in application management, deployment and monitoring. Experience in one or more in automation tools for example Jenkins. Experience in designing and developing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins. Experience in scripting (Bash, Powershell). Experience in one or more source control management system for example Git. Knowledgeable in Openshift, Ansible and ArgoCD. Knowledgeable in NGINX. Understanding software development life cycle. Aware of scalability, reliability and security guidelines.
