Tax Accountant

Job Description

• Assist in the preparation of annual & quarterly & monthly returns along with its related analysis and declarations.
• Support the tax Manager in all tax inspections related to the corporate tax, salary tax, withholding tax, VAT, Property Tax and stamp duty.
• Follow up with Finance/Accounting teams to ensure that the tax accounts and provisions are correctly recorded.
• Work closely with tax authority, to ensure Tax compliance to the local rules and regulations.
• Ensure the performance and documentation of all kind of taxes.
• Assist and working where necessary with professional advisors.
• Assist tax projects or special projects assigned.
• Identify, highlight and consult with tax manager of potential risks and issues from tax perspective.
• Address all audit issues and actions to the tax manager.
• Prepare a detailed log of all audits with open actions.
• prepare the WHT suppliers certainties and any tax data requested to the suppliers.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent (preferably from an English Department)
• Average of 2 years of experience with accounting or tax responsibilities (preferably someone who has worked for an audit office)
