Company Description Dharma Investments is a company operating in the NBS, climate tech, and regenerative agri-food & bioeconomy sectors. We engage in angel investments (e.g., Impact Bank/Welight and Greenfeul) and venture building (e.g., Awí Superfoods), advise investors on evaluating new opportunities and enhancing portfolio performance, and provide support to climate tech startups with business development, strategic guidance, and capital raising services. Our goal is to generate triple bottom line value by combining green technologies, monetization of carbon/ecosystem services, and blended finance. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role of Impact Investment Analyst at Dharma Investments. The Impact Investment Analyst will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to evaluating investment opportunities, conducting financial analysis and modeling, managing investment portfolios, and identifying opportunities for impact in the NBS, climate tech, and regenerative agri-food & bioeconomy sectors. The analyst will initially spend approximately 50% of the time to support two portfolio companies, including participation in an international 10-week biodiversity-focused acceleration program for a superfoods startup being created that works in the Amazon, and the other 50% of time supporting 2-3 climate tech/bioeconomy clients with business development and investor outreach. Depending on interest and fit, there could be flexibility to subsequently focus on specific project(s).  The role is predominantly based in São Paulo, SP, with flexibility for remote work. Desired Qualifications

  • Moderate to advanced fluency in English
  • Multifaceted interests and skills: you enjoy a broad range of activities, ranging from financial modeling, preparing a deck for investors to helping build a website or exploring business development opportunities
  • Analytical skills and ability to perform financial analysis and financial modeling
  • Experience in investments and portfolio management
  • Basic knowledge of finance and investment principles
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to a changing work environment
  • Understanding of the NBS, climate tech, and regenerative agri-food & bioeconomy sectors
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, business, forestry, engineering, or a related field
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: you like the idea of working with startups and also of helping to build new endeavors
  • Passion for purpose and impact: you are driven by a desire to align your vocation with purpose and make a difference
Compensation: To be negotiated based on level of experience. A part of compensation will include upside in deals and equity options in portfolio companies over time. More senior candidates may also apply, and a partnership model is being formed.
