General Manager
c. 0.5 FTE (20 hours p/w) depending on candidate
Opus Orchestra is the professional orchestra for Waikato and the Bay of Plenty. We aim to inspire people across our region through uplifting experiences of live orchestral music. We honour music of the past, share the joy of music in the present, and nurture the music and musicians of the future.
Role:
Reporting to the Board, the General Manager takes overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the orchestra and works closely with the Board and Music Director on the strategic planning, financial management and artistic direction of the organisation. You will be required to travel across the region several times a year for meetings and during concert tours.

A team player who can work collaboratively in an online environment.
