CARE Waitakere Trust is seeking a Senior Financial Mentor/Team Lead to join our team on a permanent part time basis. This exciting role involves working with our clients to provide services under our Building Financial Capability contract, as well as providing leadership for our Financial Mentoring team
CARE Waitakere Trust is a not-for-profit organisation that is committed to making a difference in the community through counselling, financial mentoring and family support services. This role is funded by the Ministry of Social Development.
The successful candidate will have:
A passion for assisting people regain control of their finances and supporting them to build their financial capability.
Experience working as a Financial Mentor under the Building Financial Capabilities contract (or equivalent)
Proven leadership skills and ability to work well in a team environment
A commitment to manākitanga, creating a compassionate, understanding non-judgemental and welcoming environment for the whānau we support.
An understanding and commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
The ability to work with clients one on one and in groups, both face to face and digitally.
