You will be responsible for meeting with clients to understand their unique situations, conducting thorough legal research, drafting comprehensive legal documents, and representing them in court proceedings. Your strong negotiation skills will be crucial in reaching favourable settlements for your clients. Additionally, you will manage your caseload effectively while keeping your clients informed about the progress of their cases. What you bring:
- Admitted Solicitor in New Zealand with strong technical ability;
- Good team attitude with a commitment to collaboration;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients on a personal level;
- Previous experience within family law demonstrating a deep understanding of relevant laws and statutes;
- Ability to conduct thorough legal research and draft comprehensive legal documents;
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of reaching favourable settlements for clients;
- Effective case management skills with the ability to handle a diverse caseload;
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date on changes in family law.
