Available from Late May 2024: Ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work by the end of May? Our client is counting on you. Willing to Roam: From North to South, are you game to travel all over New Zealand for the job? Ready for Long Hours: Can you put in the hustle, clocking in up to 50+ hours a week for 3-4 months starting late May? Now, about our client : Our client, a seasoned welding services company based in Waikato, has been in the game for three decades, specialising in dairy and process pipework. Here's the lowdown on the gig : Project-Based Work: Join us for a temporary stint, diving into exciting projects that span 3 to 4 months. Gateway Opportunity: While it's project-based for now, this role could pave the way to a permanent spot with a top-notch Waikato Engineering Professional Organisation. Location: Our client is stationed in Hamilton, but be prepared to journey far and wide across New Zealand. Travel Perks: Don't fret about travel costs or where to crash—our client's got it covered. Plus, a daily allowance for grub is on us. This is what the job will involve :
- Reactive Repairs
- Routine Maintenance
- Pump and Mechanical Equipment Maintenance
- Fault Finding
- Preventative Maintenance
- Hygiene Valves and Plate Heat Exchanger servicing – including full strip-down & rebuilds
- Class 1 Driver's License
- Mechanical Fitting/Engineering Maintenance Qualification
- Fitting Experience
- Hydraulic Systems Know-how
- Technical Drawing Interpretation Skills
- Stellar Communication
- Time Management Skills
- Troubleshooting Wizardry
- Quality Control Savvy
- Welding Experience (TIG bonus points)
- Electrical Knowledge (Nice-to-Have)
- In this role, you'll be the face of our client's team, liaising with clients, discussing service needs, and making magic happen on-site.
