Our Centre of Health and Social Practice delivers professional programs in social work, counselling, nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, and primary health care. If you value working collaboratively and have the expertise and experience to teach core social work theory and skills, we are keen to hear from you.He kōrero mōu| About you
We currently have a full-time permanent position available within our social practice teaching team. To be eligible for consideration, you will:- Need to have current registration with the Social Workers Registration Board (SWRB).
- Have a competent application of mātauranga Māori in education and/or social services.
- Possess a valid permit to live and work in New Zealand
- An ability to teach Te Tiriti o Waitangi related content, tikanga and basic te reo.
- Hold a postgraduate qualification or working towards a postgraduate qualification
- A tertiary teaching qualification
- Confidence in using applications such as Moodle, Teams and other teaching/learning platforms that we use in the delivery of our teaching.
