Get to know the role: The Director of Strategy and Project Management plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing our organization's strategic vision. This position involves project planning, cross-functional collaboration, and supporting senior executives in formulating and implementing business strategies. The role requires exceptional problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning and ensure successful execution of cross-functional projects by setting and tracking key milestones and budgets.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to shape the company's direction by formulating and driving business strategies.
- Help cross-functional teams resolve issues with data-driven insights and practical guidance.
- Create short-term and long-term performance goals, aligning them with strategic objectives in close coordination with department heads.
- Partner with leadership to effectively convey organizational goals to internal and external stakeholders, promoting understanding and support.
- Regularly assess and update the corporate strategy to stay in line with management expectations, industry trends, and changing needs.
- 4 - 8 years of experience at top tier strategy, management consultancy, or investment banking firm
- Strong academic track record
- Strong background in strategic thinking, analytics & demonstrated ability to problem solve
- Experience with hands-on engagement, strong interpersonal / influencing skills
- Convincing executive presence, solid spoken and written communication skills including executive level communication / slides
- Able to work independently and in teams
- At least 6-8 years of working experience. Prior experience in financial services or banking preferred
- Strong team player with a can-do attitude, rolling up your sleeves and being adaptable and flexible - grit is a characteristic well-valued
- Highly comfortable and able to context switch and perform in a semi-structured, dynamic, fast-paced environment
- A self-starter and independent learner who takes the initiative to challenge the status quo
