- Provide regulatory guidance, including concerning relevant crypto and financial regulation
- Provide legal guidance and counsel in coordination with cross-functional teams to effectively respond to the ongoing monitoring by a government-appointed Monitorship of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and sanctions compliance programs
- Partner closely with cross-functional and regional teams, supporting on complex legal matters of diverse complexity, sensitivity, and significance.
- Qualified lawyer with 4-8 years of experience at a reputable global law firm
- In-house experience is a plus
- A proven history in litigation and contentious regulatory matters
- Admitted to practice in at least one U.S. state
- A comprehensive understanding of both AML and sanctions compliance programs
- Robust analytical skills with an eye for detail
- Capable of working proactively in both independent and team environments
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of financial products (including spot trading, margin trading, futures, and options) is essential.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin will be highly advantageous
