We are seeking a skilled Ruby on Rails Developer with experience in building high-performance, scalable, and fault-tolerant web applications. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Ruby on Rails, MVC architecture, RESTful web services, and experience working with databases. We are looking for a highly skilled Scrum Master to oversee the development of software projects in an Agile/Scrum environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating daily Scrum meetings, tracking progress, and clearing roadblocks for the development team. The right candidate must have experience with various Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean. Responsibilities • Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Ruby on Rails. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify needs and specifications for software development. • Testing and debugging of applications to ensure quality and accuracy. • Maintain and improve the performance of existing software to meet evolving user needs. • Stay abreast with trends in web development and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies. • Facilitate daily Scrum meetings, sprint planning and retrospectives. • Manage and prioritize the product backlog. • Coach the team on Agile methodologies, practices, and principles. • Identify and remove roadblocks that hinder the team’s progress. • Track and report on the progress of the project to stakeholders. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. • 2 to 4 years of experience in Ruby on Rails development. • Strong understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful web services. • Experience in developing APIs and integrating them with other web services. • Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. • Ability to prioritize and manage workload in a fast-paced environment. • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean. • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello or Asana. • Excellent communication and leadership skills. • Ability to facilitate and manage conflicts amongst team members. • Ability to adapt and pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
