About the Client: Our client is an innovative tech startup based in the USA, specializing in cutting-edge software solutions. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Engineer to join their dynamic team. About the Role: We are looking for a talented Backend Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to contribute to our client's exciting projects. As a Backend Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems to support our client's software applications. While the position is remote initially, candidates should be comfortable with the possibility of a hybrid setup later on. Experience in AWS (Amazon Web Services) is a plus Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js, JavaScript, and Express (Java and Spring are acceptable substitutes).
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs to support various functionalities of our client's software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and implement effective solutions.
- Utilize AWS services, with some familiarity being a plus, to deploy and manage backend infrastructure.
- Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of backend systems through thorough testing and optimization.
- Communicate effectively with team members, providing progress updates and addressing technical challenges.
- Demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills and a positive attitude in approaching tasks and challenges.
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in Karachi, such as NED or FAST, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, with proficiency in Node.js and related technologies.
- Familiarity with AWS services is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Positive energy and a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
- Availability for overlapping working hours with the US morning time zone.
