Accounting Head

Optimus is assisting a toptier provider of innovative electronics and technology solutions in recruiting an Accounting Head. Location: Manila Work Setup: Onsite; MonFri Responsibilities

• Lead accounting department Supervise and mentor a team of 10 accounting personnel to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Manage the daytoday operations of the accounting department including accounts payable accounts receivable payroll bank reconciliation and general ledger activities.
• Oversee all accounting operations
• Develop and implement financial policies procedures and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate the annual audit and tax compliance process.
• Provide Strategic Guidance to Senior Management
• Analyze financial data and trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction revenue enhancement and operational improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives and strategic decisionmaking.

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field; CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles practices and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong leadership and teambuilding skills.
