Job details
Direct and operate production, operation, quality assurance, testing or maintenance plant. Train and mentor other engineers and supporting staff. Oversee the research & development of new products. Analyze technology, resource needs & market demands to plan and asses the feasibility of the projects. Plan & direct the installation, testing, operation and maintenance & repair of facility and equipment. Make detailed plans to accomplish goals. Analyze market demand and available resources. Review, approve, or modify product designs. Prepare budgets, bids, and contracts. Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures. Recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
