National Content Director

An opportunity to work with New Zealand’s award-winning public media company. RNZ aims to strengthen Aotearoa and the Pacific through informative, challenging and entertaining content. Te Mahi – About the job A rare opportunity for an experienced radio programming professional, this role is critical in supporting the development of our RNZ National brand on-air and on-line. The National Content Director is a key senior RNZ role which leads the live listening radio team , manages leaders developing and producing content across all RNZ’s dayparts and contributes to strategic planning. You’ll have:
  • Great people leadership skills inclusive , collaborative and communicative
  • proven industry hands-on experience with talk radio programming and management
  • experience in broadcast journalism and multi-media platforms
  • coaching and mentoring skills plus the editorial knowledge and experience to inspire the team to create unique, relevant content and programming for our current and future audiences.
